2. Computek College Named One of Canada’s Top Growing Companies – Again!
For the second year in a row, we were recognized as one of Canada’s Top Growing Companies by The Globe and Mail. It’s a proud reminder of the impact we’re making in education, career training, and the lives of our students, and it’s a milestone that made 2025 truly unforgettable.
3. Introducing the Integrated Early Childhood Assistance Training Program

In 2025, we launched the Integrated Early Childhood Assistance Training Program to help address the growing demand for skilled professionals in Ontario’s childcare sector. This program enables participants to bridge their international experience and qualifications into a meaningful career in early childhood education, providing the training and support needed to transition confidently and seamlessly into the Ontario workforce.
4. The 2025 Computek College Queen’s Park Reception

Earlier this year, Computek College proudly hosted its annual Queen’s Park Reception, bringing together government leaders and changemakers to spotlight the importance of accessible, industry-driven skills training in tariff-proofing Ontario’s workforce. The event reinforced our shared commitment to preparing workers for an evolving economy and ensuring they have the practical skills needed to succeed.
5. Connecting Students to Employers: Computek College’s 2025 SDF Job Fair

In April, we hosted a PSW Job Fair at our Ajax campus, connecting Skill Development Fund (SDF) graduates and students directly with healthcare employers seeking qualified Personal Support Workers. With more than 50 attendees, the event brought together long-term care homes, community health organizations, and staffing agencies for on-the-spot interviews and meaningful conversations about current workforce needs.
6. Welcoming Ontario’s Minister of Colleges, Universities, Research Excellence and Security, to our Toronto campus

In 2025, we had the honour of welcoming the Hon. Nolan Quinn, Ontario’s Minister of Colleges, Universities, Research Excellence and Security, to our Toronto campus!
Minister Quinn took the time to speak with students and tour our classrooms – getting a firsthand look at how we are training the skilled professionals Ontario needs.
7. Connecting with the Community at Taste of Lawrence and Taste of Manila 2025


One of the most memorable highlights for us in 2025 was definitely connecting with the local community at the Taste of Lawrence and Taste of Manila festivals. It was an opportunity to meet local community members, celebrate diverse cultures, and showcase our programs in a fun and engaging way. Being part of the energy and community spirit at these festivals reminded us why building strong connections beyond the campus is such an important part of who we are.
8. Celebrating Teaching Excellence: Computek Instructor Empowerment Days

In 2025, we hosted four Instructor Empowerment (CIE) Days, celebrating our educators while giving them the tools and space to grow. CIE Day is more than just a recognition event – it’s a chance for instructors to collaborate, share ideas, and get inspired. Through dynamic workshops and hands-on sessions, our educators explored new strategies, refined their teaching techniques, and embraced innovative technologies to enhance student learning.
9. Exploring Innovation: Computek College at the 2025 North American Career Education Convention

In 2025, our team attended the North American Career Education Convention, co-hosted by the National Association of Career Colleges and Career Colleges Ontario. The event was a hub of innovation and collaboration, bringing together leaders from across the sector to explore cutting-edge strategies and emerging trends in career-focused education.
