Who are these courses intended for?

Our programs are designed for both beginners and early-career professionals looking to build or pivot into new roles, particularly in cybersecurity, social services, and related sectors.

Are the courses offered online or in person?

Courses follow a hybrid delivery model that includes live instructor-led sessions (synchronous) and self-paced online modules (asynchronous). Some programs may include in-person sessions where applicable.

Do I need prior experience or education to enroll?

No prior experience is required unless otherwise stated. Each course is structured to support learners at an entry-level and build foundational knowledge.

Will I receive a certificate upon completion?

Yes. Students who successfully complete all course requirements, including the final assessment, will receive a Certificate of Completion and may be eligible for job placement support.

Includes: Communication skills, professional documentation, overview of homelessness in the GTA and Ontario, 211 services, and government support programs

Week 2: Therapeutic Interventions & Professional Boundaries
Estimated Hours: 10 hrs
Includes: Client engagement techniques, art/play therapy, behavior modification, CBT, solution-focused therapy, and maintaining ethical, emotional, and physical boundaries

Week 3: Mental Health, Crisis Management & Legal Awareness

Includes: Mental health disorders, grief and loss support, crisis management strategies, and awareness of applicable laws and legal services

Assessment
